We meet every Tuesday at 11:30 am for lunch at
Gypsy Beans & Baking Co, located on the Southeast corner of West 65th and Detroit Avenue. There is free parking on the street and in the back of the building. Lunch typically costs around $10 and if you check out the web site you will see they have quite a variety of quick and tasty food.
We recently changed our meeting location to Gypsy Bean and here are some reasons why it is a better choice:
- Typical sandwich and beverage comes in around $10
- The room we meet in is private with a door we can close
- The room we meet in can be made totally dark and there are white walls we can project onto for presentations
- The location is central to the county
- The table is oval and the room is quiet so we can actually talk
- Parking is free
Gypsy Beans & Baking Co, a traditionally styled European coffee house and bistro, is an independent, locally owned bakery café located in the Gordon Square Arts District in the Detroit Shoreway Neighborhood. Featuring select locally Roasted Coffees, a variety of Pastries & Desserts, and a Bistro Menu that focuses on the freshest seasonal ingredients prepared with worldly influences.
